but to give a quick run down of the upcoming arc (a pretty long one)

After calming down from the initial rage of betrayal, Kousuke wonder what's the goal of Qubi is in kidnapping him.
Clearly it's not to kill Kousuke, there'd be no need to transport him otherwise.

He got throw into jail under the capital's castle.
Eventually Kousuke escape from jail into the sewer, where he meet his next 3 waifus.
Then after spending some time to re-build his tech tree with their help he had to enter the city to get the last material for the communicator device.

During the course of that he ended up protecting the Saintess, getting seriously injured enough that she took him to care for inside the church's sanctuary.
While recovering he learned quite a few important things...including the saintess basically declaring that she received oracle that she'll meet her destiny and from the flow of events she believe Kousuke is said destiny.
Another 3 waifus to add from this event (well, 1 now, the other 2 joins later)

After that Melty, who broke off her own horns to look more human infiltrated the city and found him.
She also officially join the harem at this time (partly Kousuke feeling responsible, partly Melty being full horni after waiting for so long and pounced him)

Then he get 1 more waifu on the way back to the liberation army.

In 41 he will be kidnapped to slow down the plot - the invasion of such an imbalanced army. Because all that's left in the story is to take the capital and have a final battle with reinforcements from the kingdom. (not counting minor events). In the webnovel, the kingdom changes faith (not belittling the half-humans) and gives their territories back - the end. So dumb.

I'm kind of baffled by the comments of oh, those poor besieged soldiers. Really? Her kingdom was invaded and she and her people became refugees in the wilderness unwanted by any other country. She's fighting back. And for those that are saying, well, yes, but Kosuke taught her and her officers this and that, they know better--he doesn't rule them, Sylphy does. She can take his advice or leave it. If he were by her side (which is a stupid idea for a number of reasons), he might be able to pressure her into doing things his way, but he isn't. Besides, the other side has no clue about these rules of war. I see Sylphy as adapting what she thinks will work on the battlefield and leaving the rest by the wayside as good if only the other side would fight war by the same rules. She's been through a war, Kosuke hasn't.
