This premise legitimately doesnt deserve writing as good as this series has.
There is, but few are just like this if what you mean this (romcom type of yuri stuff) but light hearted (little to no yuri drama stuff or dumb dense fmc).
I’ve always gotten that airheadedness and coarseness are parts of Serina’s character, but air headed combined with over-the-top boorish/assholish behavior is a little much. Even a gyaru airhead could read the room a little better and not come in and dominate a conversation between political fiancés. I wanted her to get punched too, even if she wasn’t breaking a pure yuri heart, because she was just being a douchebag
see but that doesn't hold up when the brother was explicitly shown in the previous chapter to have grown to dislike her because she berated him for not knowing his etiquette and then imagining that since her servants always wear this grim look (are just generally formal like Almelia is) they must be suffering. Like he isn't scared of her because of anything she did, he's scared of her and thinks she's a cruel person because she succesfully internalized her formalities and told him to keep them in mind in the way the formalities taught her which he then decided to take the worst way possible.

It’s unfortunate when an author runs out of ideas for how to advance a plot and just turns somebody’s brain off for a chapter to cause conflict.

Serina was addressed and while Amelia covered for her, Amelia does rely on Serina as an interpreter. yes the slave baroness is overstepping but Amelia allows for Serina to elloquate her feelings and intentions, up until The Plan(TM) was hinted at and Amelia shattered.
