flexing that you have grandkids on the comments section of MTL'd erotica that YOU yourself deemed bad, very weird.
claiming this is inferior quality when the last chapter from the previous group includes wonderful translating such as "if something has no color, which means it has no color"? yea... maybe just leave?
OK zoomer...

Already 2 volumes just for the first week in the castle which is the introduction of the introduction when he learnt a little about this world, as much as he can about his third skill and start his mind game with the princess.

Seriously there are now 534 chapters in the web novel and we are now in chapter 8.

his journey starts in the Web novel in chapter 63
This is a little misleading. He gets out of the starting area and starts adventuring in web novel chapter 12, this manga chapter covers web novel chapter 8. But some manga adaptations take years to cover what's actually just the prologue of a web novel (which is what he's saying).

Life as a Cheat Magician that began with a False Judgment, that manga I mentioned a while back, got a translator and caught up to it's raws at 46 manga chapters covering web novel chapter 75, but it's still in the story's prologue, before the Demon King and his right hand come together.

He went out of the castle at the chapter 12 of the web novel like you said and I agree that the action starts from there.
But I think it is the start of his journey since he still stayed relatively close to the castle town (2 to 4 days worth of travel) and just do 2-3 errands (bandit subjugation, magic initiation, victims home delivery) before going back to the castle town for the tournament.

At chapter 63, he left that place for good with definitive party members and has never gone back there since then. That why I said his journey started at that chapter.

But, Cheat magician feel worst with 46 manga chapter 75 web novel chapters out of 881.

Yeah, to help illustrate my point, in both stories, it's like an adaptation of the Lord of the Rings that takes years to get to the Council of Elrond where they set out to Mount Doom. In Cheat Magician, the cast is assembled by 87, and central mission defined at 128. The rescue adventures are all part of the prologue.

Morally you are right.

With the current information we have, I cannot refute you, so little spoil
- the seals on the protagonist were researched by the princess and added to the summoning ritual by her, that why in chapter 6.2 when she talked about it she said "The research for that has been completed already".
So yeah, I repeat he his the only hero in the history of that world that been sealed at the start and only be able to use 1/3 of his skills, and the princess is the first and only summoner to have that ability.

Every others heroes before him got their 10 skills at the start.
So when I said he is nerfed I REALLY meant it.
If you put him against any other hero before him on the very same day they were summoned, his only hope to not get steamrolled will be to send him away with his 3rd skills.
Same result with people that are chosen by relics of the former heroes even though they are weaker than the original.

- The summoned hero's personality depends a lot of the summoner's personality, and that their kingdom has known it since centuries.
Because of that the summoner is chosen at birth by the royal family and educated all their life for that purpose.
That's why they're a lot of panels in where the two mirrors eachother.

- the information he get from his 1st skill are ALWAYS true.
So in the current state, whether or not he would have cross the line or not, protagonist's misfortune and unhappiness after the demon lord death is already a done deal for her from the very minute she summoned him.
Seriously, in the first hour he get summoned, the last part in the sentence of the princess's profile is "勇者を不幸の底に陥れようとしている" trying to make the hero fall to the very bottom of misfortune/unhappiness/death.
- every thing in this world, especially magic and skills, is rules by resources consumption, benefits and prices.
For example with the seals "key to the princess heart", since she put it on the MC unilaterally without a paying a compensation to him and against his will, the backdoor that he could make her subconsciously unsealed him the more she accepts him in her heart was put automatically as price against her will.

- each hero summoned is paired with a saint born in the holy kingdom the princess talked in that world. They have a special connection and the more they relationship grow, the stronger the hero becomes.

Finally every summoned heroes have a skill where they gained massive power at the cost of the saint's life.

So most of the hero ended up with their saint if they managed to ended their demon king without sacrifice them.

That's why she wants the full control on him before he meet her.

- And spoiler of spoilers, if the princess and the current hero still have a vertical relationship where the princess is on top by the time they end the demon king MC would be executed because he would have a lot of legitimate reasons to kill them all if the princess prioritize her world safety over her hero's wish.

From the point of view of the princess sealing him is not wrong, but wishing for his absolute misery from the get go even with every bad thing she knew about past hero is still wrong.
Sems like cutting down from Tsar bomb to a Fat Man with the skills, reasonable thing if you don't know what kind of a person is summoned tho'

Makes you wonder what kind of sociopath started the landslide of prejudice...
