It looks like they're drawing out the release of last two bits of the arc a bit. Anyone who wants to follow on in the novel:

This chapter got to the last part of novel chapter 85. Before the grand finale that will be covered in 50.2 and 50.3.
If you're switching to the novel, you should step back to 84 to see important scenes to understand what's happening next.

If you're invested, you'll probably want to continue the story in book form after 50.3 anyway, because the conclusion (should) be leaving readers with a TON of questions (well, unless the arc ending was changed). I will be dropping a guide for the next arc with 50.3.

The big thing to know as far as difference between novel and manga is: Kento has 33 Kobolds in his army. This is the biggest gap between web novel and manga, because they will be stationed around as envoys. Alto is the lead Kobold, he actually has a few POV chapters later on.
