They could have setup a nice dispersal plotline but nooo author can't think how to make things going without the group still being together

Japan that largely has moved on and ability to use magic there brings too many implications that I doubt author can spin something interesting

It's not as if both weren't still a thing though where you could still be treated as a kid, but they stress the importance of those topics regardless. (As at that age, you were also usually expected to either be helping out your parents with their work, or have begun an apprenticeship, or some other means of helping provide for the family)

Let me correct this a bit, MTL is really not the gospel. In the web novel it's 48 dead, 152 seriously injured, 207 missing, (summoned), but the number of summoned people may be different because of Light Novel changes (manga adapted two LN volumes then switched to WN). And yes, the mother stabbed the father over his love affair, then someone impersonated Kento, the dad didn't know how to tell Kento what happened so took a while to verify the identity.

If you really can't wait, we're at chapter 91 in the novel.

They said all the second year got summoned in the first chapter.

It was a middle school in the original web novel so 13-14 years old their.

But maybe they make them highscholler in the adaptation to make it more acceptable, so 16-17 years old in that case.

Edit: Confirmed junior High school in chapter 11.3, so yeah, 13-14 years old.

Shinka no mi manga does not go anywhere, and don't feel funny, and second season became something else like "look kids we did JoJo reference we are good anime right"
Tales of Demons and Gods publishing 1 page per 6 months, Manhua got the same point, and that mad man (name was Mad Snail right?) not writing for the manhua and manhua got down(weekly to 2 weekly)

You should be careful, many people believe anything if it's under a spoiler tag. You make it sound like we see Kento's dad but we don't, not until the 700s of novel chapters where there are no lasting effects from being stabbed.

You would be confirming both the existing of a parallel world capable of kidnapping people and that magic exists that has unknown properties to it to a government. You would cause a riot as the authorities would do whatever they deem necessary to capture and experiment on you to learn more about magic.

They wouldn't be able to hold the MC due to his shadow magic, but that wouldn't stop the Japanese government from arresting the parents of the kids and using them as hostages. You would either need to sacrifice yourself or allow innocents to suffer.

I want to believe this is the setup that its human that is the real enemy as well being human.
Kokubun being OP will make people press him even more. If he can go back easily，why didnt he do so earlier？But he just cant. People say its stupid， but he cant reason with so many peple. This has been shown with the fire incident， he cant reason with 4 people，but then with whole mob who completely believe him just hogging things ？Then they bring up the dead classmate. Or how he has so many wives yet still forces the saint friend to stay，but he dont have say in that. By all means he should stay there because there is no merit going home. Or how the princess is proven to be dick to otherworlders because she consider them as animals but is really kind to her subjects. All this pushes him to be the next demon lord.

I like it that its different than other isekai is when the mc is too OP not everyone will be their friend. People get jealous，he cant reason with them despite the massive power. This is what other isekai fails，everyone become buddy. Even the king becomes funny uncle.

Going home then getting manipulated/critised by society is another can of worm. Like in Grisaia the society shuns Amane because she is the only one who survived a bus crash and everyone said she ate corpses. That kind of thing.

Id say let the author cook

Yeah in abnormal case with lots of weird potential, Governments normally don't ignore those opportunities to gain more power, or resources (that include special skill or magic users)
