I get you don't want to attack the kingdom outright leaving them exposed to the monsters and just want to negotiate a way home. Kento should approach it more like I see you hanging on a cliff holding on. (due to your own stupidity) Sure I won't push you off but I don't feel compelled to help you up either. (Especially, if the one hanging on is shit talking and calling you names).

Besides I highly doubt Camila and her trash kingdom would be so willing to negotiate in the first place seeing how the view the Terrans. Unless, Kento brings the hammer down and threatens them with violence. Either brings us home or its murder time.
