Are you sure about Ayaka? Based on the data available in the Wiki, it doesn’t appear that she gains 4500 points per level. While her total stats at level 1 do add up to 4500 points, that’s simply her starting value—not the amount she gains as she levels up. Her stat growth follows a more complex pattern and does not adhere to a linear progression.

To illustrate, at level 1, her stats are: HP 700, MP 300, Attack 1300, Defense 300, Vitality 500, Speed 700, and Intelligence 700, totaling 4500 points. By level 115, her stats have increased to: HP 1390, MP 2878, Attack 10983, Defense 2256, Vitality 2313, Speed 1574, and Intelligence 1450, for a combined total of 22,844 points. At level 143, her stats are: HP 1935, MP 3178, Attack 20483, Defense 2862, Vitality 3331, Speed 1611, and Intelligence 1712, which adds up to 35,112 points.

It is evident that her stats grow at different rates across levels. For example, her Attack increases by an average of 84.94 points per level between level 1 and 115, but between levels 115 and 143, the increase jumps to an average of 339.29 points per level. In contrast, her Speed grows at a rate of 7.67 points per level up to level 115, but this rate slows down significantly to just 1.32 points per level after level 115.

This variation in stat growth indicates that Ayaka’s progression is not linear but rather follows a dynamic scaling system. Different stats increase at different rates depending on the level range, and her overall stat growth changes as she levels up.
She's pretty much at 20000 in strength now thanks to her fight in this arc.
She's, at this point, the strongest hero.

The original stats are multipied by the level. If you want to know her original modifier stats, divide her currents stats by her level.

I thought there was enough of that discussion in the comments of the last chapter...

My point here was just that him explicitly stating it is just asking for an exception, which is a bit on the nose.

He didn't ask for an exception, he believed the Lord of the Fly King's Squad to be a descendant of heroes. Touka put an act based on what Seras and Eve told him to make the Demon believe he was affected by his essence. And once he was in range, you know the rest.
Touka's tactic hasn't changed.

Since you've got the math and source material down. Stat-wise, how does MC fare against the S tier heroes right now?
At this point Sogou has over 20 000 in strength. Touka has 7500 in every stats except MP.
Without taking into consideration Sogou's inherited skill and unique skill (who make Sogou completely out of their league the entire class at this point), Touka doesn't stand a chance against her, neither Eve and Seras.

Against the MC moveset. What? You rather drag this out for another 2-3 chapters knowing he'll win in the end anyways?

These chapters come monthly you know, we'll be here forever at that rate.
And that would have been pointless. Touka wasn't the main focus of this arc anyway. He was the Aragorn and Queen Chaos of his classmates ; he arrived when all hope were lost.

Gaining almost 400 level at once is a tad bit much init?
Considering he's already level 2000+
He's rank E, his stat increases are pitiful so +400 levels for a 120 HP boost is meh.

Remember he gets +3 to all stats except magic which gets +30.

Sogou prob just got at least 100x400 (or better) to a couple of her stats since she's rank S.

Honestly, it feels like the author is adding numbers without a consistent growth pattern. It’s not as simple as multiplying her stats by her level. Looking at the data, her stat growth doesn’t follow a linear or consistent pattern, which makes her progression more complex. For instance, from level 1 to 115, her stats increase at a specific rate, but between levels 1 and 143, that rate changes.

To break it down, here’s the level-by-level increase for her stats:

From level 1 to 115:
  • HP: +6.05 per level
  • MP: +22.61 per level
  • Attack: +84.94 per level
  • Defense: +17.16 per level
  • Vitality: +15.90 per level
  • Speed: +7.67 per level
  • Intelligence: +6.58 per level
From level 1 to 143:
  • HP: +8.70 per level
  • MP: +20.27 per level
  • Attack: +135.09 per level
  • Defense: +18.04 per level
  • Vitality: +19.94 per level
  • Speed: +6.42 per level
  • Intelligence: +7.13 per level
As you can see, the rate of increase is not consistent. For example, her Attack increases by an average of 84.94 points per level up to level 115, but between level 115 and 143, it jumps to an average of 339.29 points per level. Similarly, other stats such as Speed and Intelligence show slower growth in the earlier levels, and then the rate changes in later levels.

So, while you can divide her current stats by her level to get an estimate of her modifier, it won't give you an accurate picture of her true progression. Her stat growth is dynamic and scales at different rates at different points.

Well it's possible the growth is bigger after level 100 because it becomes harder to get new levels (that's also a fact from the Light Novel).

Anyway it doesn't really matter. Sogou was very weak before she gets her 2 new skills back to back in this arc.

Totally, my bad. I got lazy and took it the same way as MC's without double-checking - he gains the same amount as he does on the first level. I did this math in the past and I had a feeling that something was off this time around. I think I even had a spreadsheet then, so it was way better. The S-ranks seem to be super-specialized - for her it's ATK.

The main point still stands, his levels, on top of having no special abilities per se, are trash. Ayaka gains 120 ATK/level on average before lvl 500, so 40x MC's, 2.5x HP, 6x DEF and VIT, and 2x SPD and INT. With 200 points/level on average, vs. 51 of MC's, 33 of those are MP. 88x was a mistake, but they are roughly gaining 10x the strength.

And that's on average - Ayaka's attack at level 499 (which she should be at now I think), will be roughly equivalent to MC's ATK at level 20000.

It's difficult to make a precise comparison because, apart from the MC's data—which is straightforward to analyze due to his linear stat growth—the information for the other heroes on the Wiki is not available. The only hero with accessible data is Ayaka, but it only goes up to volume 4. In volume 4, the MC starts at level 1,797, and at this level, he only lags behind Ayaka in terms of Attack. Ayaka's Attack is 20,483, which is four times higher than his. With his HP being 5,391, if Ayaka were to land a direct hit on him, he would die instantly.

Nah I just would’ve preferred a cooler fight and less filler. The highest hurdle the MC had to clear this fight was my attention span
Sorry to disappoint you, it's the main story, not filler.

But we could have a So I'm a Spider so What? treatment if you prefer : the MC arrives on some random battlefield where his classmates are for some unknown reasons, kill the enemy commander then disappear.

Good story.

So when will the MC get revenge on that shitty goddess?
The end of the series; we're not even halfway thru the currently released novels.

Series might end with the next novel though.

When will she know?
Around the end of the next major arc (not the CURRENT major arc). Note that getting to the witch was the first major arc.

I will clarify myself so you understand what I meant.

Chapters 53 and 54 (a total of 4 parts) could probably be condensed into one chapter (2 parts) and still have hit the same story beats. Those chapters contained a lot of fluff and filler that did not contribute much to the overall story
