I guess Paula and Ysley have lost all agency and became completely passive sex dolls. Prontea also doing nothing, nobody seems to give a shit about anything anymore. Somehow Hayato who was like the most boring one dimensional character thru the whole manga is the only one of the itaden who actually has a motivation or any purpose at all to existing.
Maybe the nun will actually do something in the last chapter to justify her existence but I doubt it.

She did it with them cause there was less then 10 members of their species and so knew she needed to repopulate their species so they didn’t get wiped out. She also did it ina way to make sure they couldn’t be wiped out like last time by the Idaten and she knew they had to work as quickly as possible to make it happen even if she had to do it with her kids. Overall her plan was a smart one even if we ignore the eww factor of what it entailed. Incest is always gonna happen when you’re at a population of less then 10 members

I'm not going to call this ending a perfect masterpiece or anything but as a counterpoint to some comments, one thing I'm pretty satisfied with throughout this series and has stayed true through the end is how appropriately "Not Human" the Idaten act mentally. In the vast majority of series gods (or actual aliens) basically feel and act like somewhat different looking very strong humans, sometimes maybe with some quirks but nothing particularly surprising even if a human just lived a long time. The Idaten though feel more legitimately "off" and in turn true to their origins as the amalgation of thought patterns and such, something that has human external form as a copy but very much isn't human. Not giving a shit about things that would be deeply concerning to normal people and taking an incredibly relaxed view about means/methods so long as their basic goals (in this case the continuation of "humanity" or "train more get ever stronger" or whatever) are met fits. Miku too is unpleasantly yet unusually genuinely demonically intelligent evil, and her solution of basically finding a way to coexist regardless of means because actual victory is perfectly impossible, Idaten are basically forces of nature, works.
As readers who are ourselves very much human that doesn't necessarily make for the most grokable and satisfying outcome on one dimension, but on another it's kinda cool.

Ok... maybe i've lost the plot or something.
But basically from what i remember the idatens kill demons cause demons kill and rape humans. But humnas basically became a some kind of half demons hybrid and accepted demons inside of their society, so the idatens have no reason to fight them. Cause the idatens are not moved by ideologies or hatred. As told by another user above, their mindset is alien.
Gil is the only one that could decide "fuck it i will purge them anyway!" cause she is born during the demon invasion by the desire of the nun to be able to protect the people and fight back against them.
In fact is the only one hating this epilogue while the other idatens are "whatever".
