I like harems but this seems like a sweet story with some cool fights and political corruption. The other otomoe game Manga with the harem does it good. This wouldn't.
same, i like harem story too even though most of them are a miss than hit. but this kind of redemption/leading a better life setting almost always better with 1 focused love interest
Why do these settings have a butler/maid SERVANT who is allowed to order the lord around and smack them or things like that? I mean, he's an employee, he has no business acting like he can tell the MC what to do, if the MC says no, the butler has absolutely no say otherwise.
i see this more often in manga than manhwa with same genre. so stylistic choice i guess (like how the JP male lead almost always had similar teenager build, while manhwa Male leads always a hunk of a man). also maybe to emphasize the light hearted setting and add comedic effect to us reader, instead of an actual butler who disrespect his young lord.

This is almost identical to another series with only a few chapters I can't remember the name for where the MC is the backwater noble who marries the former villainess - it's a fun twist on the "villainess" genre and I hope they go in good directions instead of just typical japanese trope nonsense.
The twist is... FORMER Japanese MC is GAY.

Why? No straight guy would play an OTOME game. The other series have the MC's sister or something forcing him to play. This guy, he straight out ENJOYED playing those games. Those games require the protagonist to flirt with MEN and trying to make them fall in LOVE.

... Seriously, why the hell did the MC enjoy playing OTOME games? I just can't get over that while reading this chapter. :wtf:

Pretty narrow viewpoint to assume someone is gay because they played an otome game. I mean I read a shit ton of shoujo/josei manhwa with plenty of bare chested men, so am I now gay or something?

I mean I get why you're saying that - your average man isn't going to want to roleplay seducing another man (same reason I don't read BL), but not everyone cares about that.

Aren't the authors tired of writing "Japanese reincarnated as a mob or villain to prevent the villainess to fall to darkness with his knowledge of the game" ?

They could do varieties of it that and it would help your story better like :

"Japanese reincarnated as a mob or villain without knowing anything of the game and being clueless about the system prevent the villainess's fall because he is not a ass#ole and sincerely fall for her during the story"
(love-story developing from both characters while debunking the tropes of otome games )

or

"Mob or villain gain knowledge of the ending and or the all system and tried prevent his and the villainess' bad ending by becoming a better person"
(In that case, the protagonist's victories and progresses would have far more weight in them.)

If the MC, as the territory lord, hasn't got personal funds to developed the land, despite the land offering rich mineral resources, the answer is to go capitalist on it. Form a public company and have rich, interested merchants invest in it. If the kingdom really has no interest in defending the place from constant raids from the neighbouring country, then bloody switch allegiance over to that neighbouring country. Obviously they do have the means to keep sending the military there. Seriously, though, if successful, productive mines were to be established, the king ought to become interested, as it's a matter of national importance.

Very similar premise to MobuSeka, I'm expecting more "slow life/slice of life" in this one compared to MobuSeka since that really delves into the Otome game's story.

Why does everything have to be an isekai, can't we have these settings as with pure fantasy...
technically, it is not an "isekai", because it's just like if I hit your head with a bat, then your past memories somehow magically come back after that hit :)

It's fun, you don't need to self-insert in every protagonist to enjoy a story or game lol

This is quite good, but I don't like the forced "twisted world" fate thing. Would be preferred if the villainess is a true bitch who turn over a new leaf (haven't found this kind of manga since the hiatus reincarnated butler).
What, the novel that last had TLs released like 10 years ago? Or something else?

Unfortunately most stories seem to be allergic to things like 'character development' so rather than having a girl who was nice all along, someone actually evil or mean who have a shift in perspective is extremely rare.
