"Only useless skills are left" Then everyone is an idiot as weight magic would be broken as fuck depending on how much it can manipulate somethings weight.

this dude never minmax in RPG, eh? If he did, he would understand that skill is all about mechanics, interaction, and number. and not names. Walking sounds lame, well how will it interact with air, water, fire, etc? Can you "walk" on them? What about the number? Can you walk at speed of light?

A lot of these skills look potentially good, if not broken, weight is pretty much gravity, temperature is pretty much heat/cold, movement is pretty much mobility (dash, flight, blink are movement), packing is inventory management (the no.1 most important ability, in fact, especially at end game), sensitivity is scouting/perception, health is either healing/tankiness or regeneration.

The main character of Larry Correia's Grimnoir Chronicles is a pretty amazing example of somebody using weight magic. In that world of books, people that can use it are referred to as "heavies."

The more ambiguous a skill is the greater potential it possibly has. In the case of this series, movement, move anything, anywhere, anyhow?

Apart from the titles and special traits that seem to do only harm there is some potential there. Temperature seem to be a lot more useful than just Inferno or Lightning, Movement like in blink and teleport? with weight he can make an stick light as a feather and just before it hits something he makes it weight a ton, Packing would be that dimensional storage thingy, Health should be resistance to poison ad diseases + regen, Exercise to get broken stats, Sensitivity to idk notice things? Walking... Jesus had this skill. But Unproductiveness, uselessness, shut-in and NEET SHOULD make everything for nothing. Edit: Forgot about the lenses, that should be an appraisal thingy right??

i don't know about others, but i think it's a good start for a funny isekai.

Like really, who would run away from a magic circle summoning from Another World? The thing i have seen so far is the MC was left behind due to him being far away from the magic circle.

heh, its like a game, but when you have to pick bad traits for your character. Uselessness will be great. Its what Aqua has from Konosuba.

But.. in all honesty, its going to be shit.

The extra magic ones actually looked really good, except for Packing magic, but even then, interdimensional storage sounds pretty neat. Movement magic could be used to slow down enemies and speed yourself up, and could be used to accelerate thrown objects very quickly, which creates more force, not to mention the possibility of teleportation magic being tied in with it. Temperature magic is pretty self-explanatory - it could be used to roast or freeze enemies, can be used defensively to the user from other magics such as Fire magic and Ice magic by using the inverse temperature, and could even be used to create powerful winds and storms if the user is intricate in applying the magic. Combining hot and cold temperatures is also extremely effective at object embrittlement (such as rubber becoming hard and cracking after being heated, then frozen). Last but not least, Weight magic could be use to crush enemies under their own weight, according to the Square Cube law, or it could be use to make them super vulnerable to incoming projectiles, since reduced mass would make them unable to keep their footing. It could also theoretically allow the user to jump very high. Other skills also had potential, such as Health, but these three in particular just seemed intrinsically very powerful and overlooked.

@ZinkiSS Pretty sure salaryman refers more to people that work themselves nearly to death just to make ends meet. Perhaps you've seen them in some other isekais. They literally worked themselves to death, so the gods took pity on them and chucked them at a dream world with cheats.

The quality of an isekai is inversely proportional to the number of isekaijin. The protagonist is always the loner who would have been mocked for firebombing an animation studio or going on a shooting spree one day. Somehow these qualities make them reliable in medieval/fantasy settings? With all the different sub-genres now, you'd think someone would try to make series with otakus or a DnD group.

Looks like the magic skills are the most useful. I assume packing magic is, or will become, space magic. Weight magic is obviously good. Then temperature magic basically makes you Jobin from JoJo, plus the opposite way.

My guess would be that spree killers and former-NEET-now-cowardly-mass-murderers aren't really compatible with modern society and since their threshold for violence/powertrips is lower they would probably thrive in a strong-eats-weak type scenario/fantasy.

The skills are usefull for adventures, they seen to be something for wasting less SP when walking and an enhancement for training.
The magic that was left (temperature, packing, weight and movement) are actually pretty OP, heck they could easily destroy planets with little effort.
Special traits and titles are trash from the names but it depends on their effects, which we don't know yet.

To be fair there is no reason to complain about it, except for the special traits and titles, even the cane arts as martial arts is pretty powerfull in many games.

@mahtan Yeah, apart from the titles, they seemed to possess some promise if you are ready to get rid of the most cliched mindsets. If you are fighting for your life, thinking outside the box can also be surprisingly simple.
