The one on the left looked the same so that can't be it. The daughter has pale hair too and that is probably genetic so at least one of them has pale hair. But the mom has black hair, the same as the one on the left in the picture. All signs points to the mom is the one on the left.I think:
Panel 2 - Father on left and Mother on right
Panel 3 - Father on right and Mother on left
Mother was tomboy in middle school but beauty girl in high school.
Father was punk in middle school but average MC in high school.
The reason I think this way is their daughter's hair color.

Unless Mother is white hairs and dyes her hair in high school and present day.
