I have to ask this, the cutted lines in page 7, they are translator's joke or they were in the raw?

EDIT: I saw the raw... they are jokes of the translators

Come on
Put your jokes under a separate page at the end of the chapter

Otherwise it’s just a lame joke cause everyone would be annoyed at it more than finding you funny.

I wish another team can take up the translation.
After the white knight incidents and now things like this.
Great to see the story being destroyed by the people who claim to love it so much.

Thanks for the warning about the cliffhanger. I think I will wait for the next chapter before reading this.

I liked the pun....
Also the WK thing didn't detracted from the story itsef just made the scanlator show an embarassing face trying to deal with it.

I can't complain about the scanlators because I'm a leecher so I'm aways thankfull when I get new chapters.

to be fair, did this manga lose its proofreader?
Because even outside of those really oddly placed dragon ball references, there are many basic english mistakes.
Page 4:
"serving of the cafeteria"
Page 5:
"appreciation from the citizenS" (and even then it's very awkward phrasing, maybe "citizenry")
"no-one *was* allowed to mistreat" (still awkward, but this is a general truth and therefore must be past tense, maybe no one *could* ? )
"existence of kaoru [...] *became* a beacon of hope"
Also, if you continue a sentence in the same bubble, I think a comma would be better than a full stop but eh.
Page 6:
What?! (he is surprised so the "?" is semi-obligatory here.)
"no"-> "neither"
What did you say*?!* (he's screaming, you can't end that with ...)
Page 7:
I can't even. this is the first time I see a scanlator do this.
"does" -> "did"
"The scout" -> "our scouts" (come on, it's a kingdom, they can't only have *one* scout)
"army power" means nothing.
the second bubble is just as bad. the "it" in "it's about" is completely unexplained.
It would make more sense in this case if it was "however, MORE than 10,000 of them SEEM to be logistics personnel"
...
Okay I am stopping here because without proper translations I can't even understand what's coming next.
I mean a cart pops out of nowhere, I would assume it's a military supply route he's referring to? a caravan? I have no clue.

No. It doesn't lack a proofreader. It lacks a translator who can actually speak english. Dude who translates these FUNA stories is shit at it. The WN is literally unreadable. At least with manga, we have the pictures to get the context.

Ah its whitepod situation all over again, some will love it, some will hate it.
I don't mind and find it funny (yeah, my sense of humor sucks ?) but if you guys really wanna put your own jokes in the translation, maybe upload the joke and non-joke clean version?
I mean you guys already spend the extra time to put jokes in there, what's a minute or two more right?

It's perfectly fine to put jokes in T/Ns and header and end pages.
but shoddy references to overused memes in the middle of serious bubbles where a country just declared war?
no.
