IIRC, in the commentary that both sometime and Sou post on their respective fanbox, they've mentioned that they try to avoid letting plot hooks unresolved when a volume ends so the story doesn't feel incomplete in case they get axed.
I assume that is the reason they are solving the Red Dragon plot right now.

To confirm for those still confused, Violet and Dahlia are not actually related, as was implied in the very first reveal that they knew each other. In ch14, Dahlia says their academy had a 姉妹制度 (sister system) where older students would look after a younger one. That's all the information we're given, really. As far as I can tell, this isn't a real thing outside of anime.

As made obvious by the title change, this series has been officially licensed. it is still a ways off, with vol1 releasing Mar 10 2026, but i still have thoughts. my goal with all this is to produce english translations of works that would never be available in english otherwise, not provide free manga. as such, the current plan is this:

1. if the official TL is bad (unlikely but possible. i mean they do have the author listed as a single "Sometime Suoh", which is weird), nothing changes
2. if the official TL is good, remove chapters as they receive official english releases while continuing to translate the latest chapters.

P.S.
People were saying the official title was bad but I thought it was fine. Though after seeing it appear on the mangadex page... I'm not a fan.

“Useless lesbian” is the term people use for a lesbian who cannot tell that another girl is in love with her (or is in denial about it). Usually used in a lighthearted manner and commonly self deprecating.
