Hmm...this one is kicked because it's seems they rather worried about him rather thinking as burden. Hero journey is very dangerous after all, so if he can't keep up that mean he have higher chance to became heavy injured in battle or even death.

It's very nice to see a "dude gets kicked from the party" where he isn't betrayed, enslaved, extracted of powers, mutilated and paraded as a betrayer. Just a dude who doesn't fit in the party and gets a fair reward for past services.

Actual Story with a plot of being kicked out and getting stronger, without actually getting all the betrayal stuff but instead heart-warming and a really mature way to go on it? Phenomenal, great potential

That's because "dangerous for him" are arguments used, as if those squishy int folks would fare better than him. They need just as much protection as he is. Besides, he survived when he have the still weak hero dragging him down in the flashback.
There are ways if they actually want to keep him around.

The biggest problem is, they kick him out. He didn't withdraw from the group.
THEY. KICK. HIM. OUT. when he's still trying, half way giving up, sure, but still struggling.
Because he inconvenience them, because they have no more use for him. The rest of it is just excuses after they decided to.

While I can't argue that he can no longer fight as well as others, there are still things like emotional attachment, loyalty, and honor.
Kicking him out might arguably the "right" and "smart" decision , but it's not a "nice" and "good" one.
Taken to the extreme, what would one do if someone's parents have grown old and become a "burden" to them?
Would it be better if I ask that question?

This translation is way too liberal... and subpar in many cases would be great if the raws you have for the future chapters would be released on other raw providing sites so that we can properly read everything and not miss many important facts etc.

Wow, this was unexpected. usually, the protag gets kicked and replaced for jackshit reasons and it's all malicious and mean. This is a refreshing start

That's a first. Leaving the yuusha's party with no hard feelings all around. As for being asked to leave the party in the first place? Makes practical sense. If they're building a min-maxed team for dealing with the harbinger-of-doomtm that is endangering the whole world, efficiencies matter a whole lot. Been playing a lot of my new fave roguelike, Dungeon of the Endless, and some play-throughs i've kept a starting character with bad late game skills a touch too long and next I know the whole team gets wrecked because that character can't keep up. Course that's in a scenario where the team has a cap on how many can be deployed at once. But here, if the author is drawing inspiration from the kicked-from-team trope and it's his boat, if he thinks it'll help it float why not?

That's not necessary true. Haven't read the later chapters yet but his class is trainer and he received some training as a mage so he is probably also one of those squishy intellectuals. He is also likely has lowest level and seems to have the least amount of direct combat related abilities so he would probably be the most squishy of them all. Also classes like priest or mage might have spells for both offensive and defensive to protect themselves such as magic barriers or fireball. Even if the mc has such abilities it is likely that the enemies that they are going to face are so powerful that they could just ignore it.
Also while there is likely someone who helps protect the more squishy party members it would still be easier if there are less people to protect.

Oh this is good, for the first time he is not being kicked out like shit but they kicked him out bc they dont want to see him die, this is pretty very rare to find in series like this and mc accepts the truth, oh this looks very good and the girl is also good, oh this might be a gold or diamond find if the manga do a very good job

If so few adventurers survive after a few years, isn't that a huge loss of potential or manpower? If this guy has the ability to build and level up dream teams, he would be a huge asset to the adventuring organization. He could be personnel specialist, chaperone/trainer. Like the best coaches in professional sports leagues.

double exp buff... enough said i would drag his ass everywhere whether he wants it or not even if you hit "max lvl" there is always a use for exp
sure it makes the fight harder but payout is huge
and they are "protecting" him by fireing him... imo its their fault to begin with and suprising for him to have lasted as long as he did... he gives everyone but himself double exp meaning his lvling needs special care which he obviously didnt get...
while i dont hope for them to die and disband a few days of dispair would be much deserved because they forgot their roots and treated the mc like their equipment

simple realy if you dont want to fire a single special person you just dont do it if necessary you find or create a new role for him/her

It could have been much more realistic than this actually. It would make sense if he started getting injured frequently and his party-mates start worrying about his safety. This point was not mentioned at all.
Plus double xp buff is overkill, it would be useful even now!! It would make sense if it was not double but like fixed buff type (or having a upper limit) so that its value decreases as party levels up.

Well, I thought he was going to be betrayed in some way, the way it usually goes, but it was better than expected. It's still shitty, but it was done kinda with tact, so it isn't that bad. MC must still feel kinda shitty though.

Tiana's reason to refuse to talk about what's going with Cross is actually because Eiga dumped her before, I wonder why translation is different with LN
