I think this was the Rod Stewart song about time that you were talking about. Posting K-DST version because its the version that brings more tears to my eyes.

not a bad song, i forget where i heard it first. was never a huge fan of it overall, especially the 'talking while singing' thing around 3:20 (just in general too). ngl i don't like Rod Stewart's singing much either lol.
