Just because it's an anthology doesn't mean that there can't be more variety in the theme. I mean take I'm in Love with the Villainess which has villainess/heroine capture but doesn't include a prefixed marriage arrangement or a confrontation scene.

Rather, I think the anthology is explicitly trying to play off the 'confrontation' scene in different ways. I'm sure if it was more chapters per author, we'd see more variety. I agree it's a little stale, but it's still interesting to see how each author interprets it.

The surrounding Nobles not being idiots, but also cheering on the Yuri, was a nice touch.

I've read two villainess anthology series so far and this is the only one where a background character immediately points out to the prince that they're in the middle of a party and he's dragging the mood down with his overdramatic condemnation event.
