It's an anthology manga (aka, mangaka adapting same story or characters to their sauce) about the theme that the villainess gets captured by the heroine.
What did you expect exactly?
Just because it's an anthology doesn't mean that there can't be more variety in the theme. I mean take I'm in Love with the Villainess which has villainess/heroine capture but doesn't include a prefixed marriage arrangement or a confrontation scene.

Rather, I think the anthology is explicitly trying to play off the 'confrontation' scene in different ways. I'm sure if it was more chapters per author, we'd see more variety. I agree it's a little stale, but it's still interesting to see how each author interprets it.
