Honestly, digging the Yami arc. I am not understanding all the hate at all. I like the FMC, I think she is cute and fun to watch. However, I love that they are diving into the characters more and letting us get to know them better. Keep in mind, the FMC is LATE.

And the male MC has dealt with years of an inferiority complex and unrequited romance. Its natural for him to develop other romantic interests while feeling he can't pursue the love he wants. So much better of a character than some typical manga mc who is head over heels and totally blind to the FMCs faults or feels like love has to be "pure". This is a significantly more realistic take on someone moving through life in my opinion.

I really like this manga. It really shows you what happens if you keep trying to give hints here and there then expect your love interest to confess to you first. Don't do that, don't play that game.

I take it the author has now made the black haired girl the main heroine …this is garbage the friend is shitty for not telling her and guy friend so much for trying to get the girl you supposedly loved and wanted to catch up with …they’ve even removed the description of what the manga was about ..it’s about a girl who loved by the boy but didn’t mature until late by that time the guy who loved her had a gf and didn’t tell her …5/10

The fact people getting "this is NTR" when the first girl and dude were literally not in a relationship, they were just childhood friends and there's zero reason for the older girl not taking her opportunity with the dude. " Oh but the childhood friend have hints ..." Sorry, girl, you slow you lose. Both the dude and the older girl have free will and free love with who they choose. They choose each other's, that's not bad writing, that's what consensual relationship looks like. This manga literally make a joke out of those rom-com " 200 pages of cliché" and actually give the lesson " do it before you regret you didn't"

I've defended the basis of this story for a while, I thought there were some good things there. Not anymore, it's a really stupid story full of stupid characters.

People who are siding with the childhood friend, bear in mind, the guy originally liked the childhood friend but she never reciprocated all this time, so why should not the guy move on and find someone who actually likes him? This is more than fair, this is justice. No, guys should not wait around for their childhood friends to FINALLY fall in love

Unlike most of these comments I've been collecting chapters for a while (before the twist) and now that I have binged all of them I'm invested in the manga even more!

the black haired girl is kind of an awful piece of shit regardless of the whole boyfriend thing (not sure why people are mad about that one how was she supposed to know) I'm not gonna lie

I thought it was going to be like a wholesome rom com and all, but I was disappointed. Don't take me wrong, I love Aya-chan, but I wasn't expecting her to randomly be in the picture without subtle warning...

And I love the original MC, since she has more charisma being so energetic, but I understand why it wouldn't work out, not with both of the childhood friends being spineless, also the inferiority complex would make it too difficult, still, Yuu with Aya isn't also healthy bc of Aya's putting a distance and being too dependent at the same time.

So I don't see a happy ending here...

I like NTR but going from ~20 chapters of a wholesome romcom to the guy not just having an ex but banging another chick even before the story starts isnt a 180, its a completely seperate story at this point. If it was a college love story I could see it but the dude was in middle school and rearranged the guts of a girl the second time meeting her. I'll keep reading but the outrage is fair unlike with other NTRs like "Quirky girl".

The sudden change in ratings when that one chapter dropped is hilarious. I can appreciate this kind of romance series when it doesn't follow the standard boring and shallow romcom formula and the drama isn't forced.
