I do want to say that there's no MangaDex rule or policy, unwritten or otherwise, regarding two or more groups scanlating a series simultaneously in the same language. The site's literally designed to make that possible. The "3 month rule" has been part of the social contract in the scene in general for a long time, sure, but we have never taken any action against sniping itself and aren't planning to.

great tl, good quality, finally some good effin' food and the dessert with the explanation with GDS hahaha, like the chapter was already good with the mom going it's just like in the romance novels 😆😆 but the sniped was well presented.

GDS is terrible, every time I see a new manga being translated and it's by them I just leave it since I won't see the end of the story until I'm almost dead. No one should feel worried about sniping their stuff because it's clear they don't really care about the manga itself.

Damn. Them's fighting words at the end (but respectful), and backed by action with multiple releases. As someone who's never had much issue with multiple groups scanlating one series, this is like one of those moments when the OST starts to play and you get goosebumps.

Thanks for the chapter. I always hated them for their slow uploads even though they have big staff and take on so many series at once but didn't knew the details why they do it. I'm very happy someone is callling out their bullshit. After knowing their operation model, I think Mangadex staff should call them out. This is kind of malpractice against the good faith of the paid readers. I'm never paying for their pateron in the future.

"Sniping" is fine. It's an old rule that existed for "claims" in the hopes of getting a real license in the early days of VHS Anime swaps and early Manga scans. For example the early 90's and 2000's groups that would late form into things like Manga Corp, ADV, or later on the abomination and stain that is Crunchyroll or the ironically named 7 Seas, both of which were big in the "sailing the seas" crowd and sometimes stealing the actual work from other's in the community while crying about sniping.

I'd say what you want, scan what you want, compete for fun, and most of all enjoy the hobby. I thank you for your service in continuing this series.
