ill be honest, half of this chapter is painful for me to read. I do understand that hes still a healthy young lad. And yes, I would also confusely freeze up alot if I was in his situation. But, man I really hope he can man up FAST, push her away.

is this really popular, or is the author using the same troupes, because popular manga had them? this is the same in every other media, until the people are annoyed

edit: especially annoying with a engaged couple, and many other good events for a couple (in only 6 chapters) besides this rival

They even call it out, if he just said, stop touching me she would stop, but he doesn’t. That’s shouldn’t be directed at the main character, that should be the directed at the author. He’s the one who wrote them that way.

Also addressing every issue in a single in a monologue at the end of an arc is a new trope in romance mangas I am seeing. The MC will bravely stand up and sum up all the problems of the last few issues, while the girl are all stary eyed “whoa you looked so cool right now”. It’s a new trope for herbivores where they finally get the spine.

I know the author thinks they’re being subversive by having an aggressive gal have a tragic backstory. I guess he doesn’t read much current stuff.
