I have no problem with you using this font at all, it looks totally normal to me even until you said otherwise!
As for what to use when Ange called Keisuke, to me any of them is fine since my head just auto-translated it to "dad" or "father" when a character says "otou-san". Have her calling him "Dad" would make the conversation smoother imo, but until more people comment about it, I think "otou-san" is the safer choice

What do you mean by those like you? People with two functioning eyes? I would genuinely prefer times new roman at 7pt then comic sans. Comic sans makes everything look a joke to me, it will always be the designated meme font for me.

Comic sans is one of the best reading fonts for people with dyslexia, which is partly why it got its reputation because the people making the jokes want to be able to read the jokes.

Also, he whole manga is an extended excuse to have young girls fawning over an older guy, it's joke in it's own right.


Either way, to the translator, thank you for your work, and the only way you should even co sider using a paid for font(besides piracy) is if someone sends you the money for it

Some advice on the translation:
(1) You don't need so many translator's notes outside the panels. For example, the */\ tadaima and okaerinasai \/ on Page 15 isn't needed
(2) Spellcheck is your friend, to avoid typos like mouring (Page 8) and regtangle (Page 14).

The less Japanese words you leave behind or use in translator's notes, the better. Including Tadaima and Okaerinasai aren't needed. Don't include Otou-san either, just go with "Dad" unless she's acting a certain way or using a certain childish tone of voice to where "Daddy" would be better.

I think you're missing the point. It's all well and good if you think this manga is a joke in and of itself, but what I don't understand is why you would intentionally want the translator to go through the effort of translating and typesetting an entire manga while not putting the bare minimum effort towards choosing a font that is normally used for manga translations (like 90% the translations on this website manage to do). Even if you think the whole premise of this manga is complete joke that doesn't mean the translation of it should be too.

The people who translate hentai don't even use comic sans, despite everybody just jerking off to the pictures.
