We're now pretty close to the introduction of Miria as far as I'm aware of. And an interesting labyrinth arc with the things happening that we didn't have before (I wouldn't go further in details, otherwise I'll spoil the fun).

The duke asking Michio to enter labyrinths is to "scare" them, as apparently the less visited by adventurers, etc. they are, the more unhinged and dangerous monsters there become. That's why it is sufficient for him to just enter them, though I'm sure there's a part of Duke making him enter these labyrinths to lure him into exploring them later this way.

I'm personally looking forward to chapters with Vesta - she's such a sweet girl and matches Roxanne nicely (and Roxanne is supreme, of course), while I personally found Miria to be very much meh, though they all fit their role inside the party.

Also, what manga falls short for me, as far as the feeling of characters, is that elves actually don't have this beauty impact as they have when reading the LN, Cassia especially. Clearly, the power of more text and ones imagination is strong.

Story-wise, how far are we in the source material or the LN?... Last chapter is short, this one is on a short-oneshot level ...

Chapter 74ish in the WN or End of volume 5 in the LN (Technically Volume 5 chapter 5), or Chapter 25. Basically every 5 WN chapters is about 1 Chapter in the LN. We start Volume 6 on the next chapter.

The Manga is following the LN's pacing in terms of story pretty closely, but it'd feel a lot better if we were more compact in chapters instead of this drip feed.

Yeah, more of a test than anything else. Wonder what party commands he has, considering we've only seen MC with his cheats.

I think he had to join other adventurer's parties a couple times when he was field walking to towns he hadn't been to before, like when he was heading to Palmasque. I think he might have also done it once or twice to get to get to a higher level of a dungeon with an explorer, maybe?
