Thanks for the chapter. And like so many others, I kinda want ribs, or at least a McRib.
IIRC in the WN he was never able to cast that spell, so seeing it here was interesting. But yeah, some of the mob names have a "picked by committee" vibe. Sheri was all impressed he knew the name of the Pig Hog but you look at it and it literally looks like the cross between a pig and a hog, so...
I normally try to ignore the small details in this manga but how the actual fuck did that pig survive the meteor spell?!? This is worse than Skyrim destruction magic scaling damage!
EDIT: and i am slow, i forgot japan tend to exchange L x R in their names and spelling, yeah i think they should be Luv shrubs, the heart shape is a dead give away that is the intended joke.
The monsters look exceptionally weak, like you could kick them to death, but they seem to be rather tough and dangerous. On the contrary, the spell Meteor Crash sounds overpowered, but in reality it was weak. Maybe it will level up, who knows.
yes, it does scale with MC stats / level.
But it is still fairly strong even as is....
MC and his team is very strong as doing a dungeon with this few people is supposedly very rare.
Especially considering they are doing it with basic low tier equipment.
So, what purpose of this MC. Is it just a slow burn & aimless type of isekai? Or there's a grand purpose? Even if there's no grand purpose, Will there be engaging plot or stakes?
Well, it is 100% a slow burn, that is for sure.
The story is a "haha funny hijinx" kind of story where MC got a very diffrent definition of " common sence " to everyone which results in funny situations.
Like the things MC takes for granted like soap and warm water means he ( and more importantly his slaves )
are living like kings which MC can afford from being insanely successful because of his cheets.
And only a few of his slaves calls him out on it.
It does have some overaching plot points but MC is mostly just exploring the world as he wishes...
Which keeps getting him dragged into random situations mainly becouse he is fairly successful in everything he does.
While haveing a verry diffrent common sence to everyone else.
( Other than Roxxane who SOMEHOW is even more out of touch then MC, just in diffrent ways )
A example of future plot points spiraling out of control.
after this dungeon dive that he promised the elf lord.
He is eventuelly going to get invited into a "nobel only strip/poker club" thanks to a recomendation from the elf lord
( and the fact the dwarf managed to craft a OP set of shoes as a present for the king on the elf lords request since he got a 100% sucess rate on magically enchanceing items thanks to his cheat )
And then he meets the king at said club and it spirals from there...
Which then later on loops back into the backstory of one of his last slaves to join the party ( becouse she is a fallen elf nobel )
The MC is from a world where folks can actually manufacture stuff all the way from the beginning till the end. Now he's in a world where nobody can even imagine smelting/refining iron from iron ore. They instead have to go into a dungeon and defeat a monster that will hopefully drop a bar of iron when it dies. So, yeah, his common sense will forever be different from the locals.
Meteor is a rare dual-element spell, and he covers that in the LN, finding that the pig survived because of his low magic damage output and the earth element of the spell.
I knew i want just imagining things. I went back to earlier chapters and they were all at least 22+ pages not including the fluffy pages. It seems a lot of series are getting short on page counts.

but did he even try doing that? just chopping down trees and sawing them into planks, come on, that's much easier that wandering around some stinking magical trap hole

Why would he try it, though? He's an adventurer, and a merchant on the side. A slave owner, with slaves specifically skilled in dungeon adventuring and fabricating stuff using materials from monster drops. His common sense is different from the locals, but he's actually living a good life by following the customs of the locals. A pretty funny situation, but also quite commonplace. Even in our world when a person moves to the other side of the world, to a different culture, they will typically fare better if they try to copy the local customs and follow the local way of living to a certain degree in the new society, regardless of their own common sense. The difference is just more exaggerated in isekai fantasy.

The slow gathering of a multi-talented harem with smut scenes in a fantasy world that is dominated by dungeons that act mostly like a supermarket. Slow burn with an aim that is really slowly revealed.

Slow burn. Mostly the draw is the girls and their well drawn t&a.
If you're looking for a good story you're barking up the wrong tree here. Just another generic "good slave owner" isekai that's basically the defining series of the sub-genre.

But he had. At least In novel it mentioned, in a first chapter if i correct, that to protect himself from bullying he got himself into a dojo. He got a successful at stopping the bullying but that make people be afraid of him instead and distanced themselves. That was another contributing factor to his depression and desire to s*icide.
Again if i remember right series.
I find the acquisition of resources in this world really funny. They have to kill fairly durable living plants in order to get a bunch of planks when they could just get those by chopping down a tree.
