To be fair, the reality of the world they are in literally uses that as its mechanics.

So it would be like a scifi higher-dimensional being (alien) "isekaied" to our base reality (here) thinking about newtonian physics. And then not sitting under an apple tree to avoid getting bonked.

"Natives" would take it for granted (post-rules discovery), or not know (pre-rules discovery). "Isekaied" would have to think about it to metagame it, since it's so foreign to their native reality.
