6 months later... Any hope of this series reviving one day?
Working on this series has always been quite perilous and laborious.

Back when we started, we were foolish enough not to dig deep enough to realize it was indeed already licensed. Long before KManga was even a thing, Munchkin had an online-only volume-by-volume english release.

Upon this discovery, realizing it was already far too late, we thought "why not keep going until we're stopped?" and continued our work. By this point, our goal had shifted to making a better release than the already-quite-behind english release that would come relatively soon after the japanese release.

This meant putting in as much effort as possible, even if it meant putting everything else on the side.

We kept at it for over a year, I'll never be able to thank Builder and everyone on the team enough for giving so much of their precious time, but even the good things break given enough time.

We had already burned our wings more than once in the past, like with TOBIJO's abrupt drop (close to its publication's demise funnily enough), which is why I thought the new boundaries I had put in place would be enough to ensure no such thing would ever happen again.

However, it did.
It wasn't the translation side that was overburdened this time, it was the lettering.

Munchkin's lettering received the utmost priority, to the point of a single chapter potentially taking hours upon hours to be perfected, despite us swearing to avoid the SFXs as one of the many edges to be given to the official licensed version to exert over our work.

The stress grew, slowly but steadily, too much so for anyone to notice.
Then, the breaking point was hit, and the burden-born unfathomable disgust to even dare to think about opening Photoshop was free to roam as it willed.

I started searching for people to match what we were expecting, as to replace the work I mostly did, albeit without credit. However, they were never found and we never had the time to train someone to reach that level given we are not so free IRL.

Ch.109's translation may have been completed mere days after its original release, but it never saw the light of the day because noone was able to reach the standards put forth.

As time went by, especially following Nico's very lengthy shutdown and the simultaneous release of every chapter that should have been released during that time, our "TO-DO" folder only grew.

At this point, we have only resigned ourselves.
We are no longer able to grant a sufficient level of quality to our readers, as such we are most unworthy to dare walk the same path as the incredible people who provide the chapters of Isekai Munchkin over at KManga (though we still share a deep hatred of the company's business model, we do recognize the work put out by those honest people).

KManga may be behind by about a month at any given time, but please do read their releases.

Especially if you have happened upon my comment following the anime's release seeking more content.
