thats a fair point, but since he was able to summon liche who belongs to the other world, or at least was made in the other world with his magic, i dont see why he couldnt use items from his storage that came from another world.

Small mistype, but I ment to say that his inventory reset while on earth, either because the storage space is bound to a world, or lost power due to lack of mana on Earth. In either case, there would be nothing from the other world to remove.

As for Liche, the reasoning is in the method of bringing here to this world, he summoned her from wherever it was she was sleeping, likely his own soul considering she is his sword.

Honestly this is one of the tropes I hate the most. The moments where the hero could have won easily but they decided to just stand around and Yap instead of actually finish off the enemy so the enemy receives a massive power up and almost beats the hero severely damaging them before the hero eventually beats them by the skin of their teeth.

Then actually have a fair fight. So many action manga just have one side absolutely destroy the other and then the other side powers up and absolutely destroys the first side and back and forth until there's a winner instead of just having an actual equal fight.
