I don't know why you people keep on calling Isekai Uncle stupid and other insults. You guys already know how he's being treated in that world. And he came from an era were the words trope and cliche never existed.
I think he's already been through worse than what was shown here and he's just showing more of the lighter ones, it's just that he either deleted those memories or buried them deep enough that he could never recover them again with his memory viewing spell.
I'm actually surprised he didn't break and went to become a demon lord or something..
