No, this only goes to riiiight abou volume 10, but there were plot point cut out from the Manga that were in the Light novels. I think they just wanted to explore the family dynamics with this adaptation. Sucks that we didn't get to see his relationship with Ai Fa advance. There were plot lines with the machinations of the nobles in town that started before the Silver Jar merchants left town that were totally skipped. J-novel club has the first three volumes available for their subscription service so I'm probably going to see if I like the writing style and maybe buy the lot. Note: Volume 34 is currently about to come out in English, so the Manga only covered about 1/3 of what's currently published and translated.looks like a classic case of novel adaptation ending, while the webnovel continues
There are so many good series that get axed before chapter 20 and then there's a bunch of series that are absolute garbage but get hundreds of chapters. I don't think I'll ever be able to understand what's going on than the mines of the Japanese.what a disappointing ending, but i guess that's just how it goes when shit gets axed. it's always the nice series that get this treatment, meanwhile bullshit like kanokari gets its fifth anime season. i will never understand what goes on in the heads of the japanese.
2. Why the end? Did it really end(get axed)? all other sources i can gather it seems to be continuing.
so I guess this is over??
Wait, that's it? Huh...
Axed? if so the END so underwhelming!!!![]()
Axed? Really?
Nooooo! Seriously!?
Thats.... thats it??
Is it really finished???
Idk if anyone can provide the source of this being cancelled but such a shame that this is the best ending it could get.
They didn't. The artist worked and works on original stories of his own for a couple of different publishers, so this kind of makes me think that the art degradation in here for Hobby Japan's title was intentional. Especially, after I've checked Bookwalker's demo-versions of volumes of his recent worksI haven't read this in a long time, and just saw it ended, did they change artists mid way?
Maybe they've had problems for a while?
So, the LN follows the WN basically 1 volume to 1 volume. There are 99 volumes total of the WN. Guess what it ends on.Well at least the story didn't end, just the manga. Also can you please spoil me, do they get married?
A lot happened. A lot of cooking that is and that's what I was reading for. A cooking show doesn't need a 'save the world' plotline or high political stakes. It's like "Nothing Ever Happens™ - The Manga."
I wanted them to kissWould people be more satisfied if the last page had something like "and they lived happily ever after"?
Yeah, I never quite got what direction the author wanted their relationship to go in. Were they trying to go for brother-sister relationship, or was it husband-wife, or both?I wanted them to kiss
