Ginko really looking like a puppet. Even reaction she had before the start of the figght feels puppet like.

surviving a light punch from Ginko is a sign of growth, too...

the heroes have generally made for fun temp party members so I'm def interested in how things'll go down with Tiger Hero once we get past this fight lol

thanks for the chapter! I was fully ready to wait longer so seeing it pop up tonight was a treat, hope a good chunk of rest is next on the docket now 🙏

She's been on battlefields and seen death so many times that the actual act of seeing the dead isn't really surprising to her, especially knowing what demons intend to do and are capable of now, I figure; her methods of looking through the village are precise and accurate, the sort of thing a soldier might do to trace enemy involvement in an area.

It's another case of the world's Heroes having a different standard of morals versus her own, given it seems this one is extreme enough to try to kill people for thinking they may be in a demon's control with flimsy proof.

And I think Ginko also managed to piece together what happened in the village and saw the body pile coming, hence the lack of reaction. She probably also expected whoever did that has stayed behind and prepared for the fight.

Or... she just is a "soldier" that has the discipline not to overreact... are even the heroes so emotional they can keep their calm in clearly strange situations?

Come on, this one is forcing a little the "samurai mindset is alien to them" bit.

I kinda wish to know where Ginko's strength comes from, if it's a side effect from being in this otherworld.
Because there's no way a samurai can be that strong in her original world which seem to be based of our reality. She would be basically superhuman.

I think she actually simply just has superhuman strength tbh. There's an side/omake chapter where Ginko's mom pulled the father's ear jokingly and accidentally ripped it off clean.

So yeah, it's basically from Ginko's mom.
