I think the tiger guy might be the closest person to understand Ginko's beliefs of dieing on the battlefield. Having an honorable battle to the death in order to reach Valhalla or something similar. You know what whould be a interesting twist of fate, that she eventual die in the middle of a final battle, but has enouph awareness to know that if she trully pass on, then her friends might also die as well. Put her on that crossroad to make.

Also, im placing my bets. The demon lord came from the same world Ginko came from, and if I might be so bold, it might even be Ginko's mother. Although I can't exactly prove it besides what the demon shown who the final boss is.
