I was surprised with the second chapter, I mean yea it wasn’t as good as the 1st, but the fact that it went a little into the actual sword lesson logically is a big step in the right direction. Where as typically in isekai stories authors cut corners with the mc just lvling up and instantly master skills.

I'm enjoying seeing more and more of the works LH has hold of getting taken over by other translators. Not only does it make LH step up their game, but gets good works out sooner than what was currently happening. Now, onto the story...

It's slow, but in a good way. I don't feel like it's squishing all the information from a LN into a 14 pager. The pacing is a little boggy, but it gives it the feeling of being lighthearted and roughly like it would be if an old man was reborn in a new body. Very chilled experience with morals from an old soul, that sort of thing.

Not a fan of the Harem tag, is it a rule for Isekai?

@Vasqueztion Agreed, although I hope there isn't too much drama between the two, it's annoying when that happens, and the majority of LN adaptations have a harem tag.

all these backstories just so author can fool it's readers that the girls won't be a 2d cardboard ** toy.
I'm betting my soul it will become a generic isekai harem shet story in 20 chapters and all these sob stories will be nothing but a useless waste of paper.
Why I say this is because all these characters keep getting introduced yet we know nothing of what they can do.
What was Jin's blessing?
What role will these girls be? are they gonna be just attaches for our big old boy Jin?
Will Jin's look in life not gonna change after transferring to an alien world with culture and values hugely diferrent from the people of japan?

And will we remove that adventure tag if we keep seeing introduction of characters(Harem members) backstories and change that tag to slice of life instead?
