Super weird that the new chick went from trying to off herself to fussing over who likes who in this "new group" she's found herself in. Doesn't seem like she has any trouble leaving when the going gets tough, so why not just do that again? You could say that the food situation is better than her last group and that's why she's stuck around, but she's clearly still upset by the relationship dynamics between Hokage and the girls, AND SHE TRIED TO OFF HERSELF. So why care at all?

I wonder if that will ever come back up again? She kinda handwaved it in the last chapter, with the whole—"I slipped and got tangled in vines." and there was no indication that anyone was suspicious of that excuse, so I guess that's that. But come on now.

Also also, if she steals all their food for the other group I'm going to be pissed.

I think in the original novel they never clashed, the other group quietly died by collapsing inwards
But many things have been changed in the manga, so it may turn out differently.
Specially because in the original novel there was sex everywhere, and some faults in the writing that like sudden technologicla developments with no explanation or lack of character development, but the sex scenes were softened and the faults were fixed in the manga, so the ending will also most likely be different.

Ps.: Does anyone know what happened with the swimming guy?! He went investigating a lot of chapters ago, and he isn't coming back!
He also wasn't a character in the novel, so I don't know what his fate may be.
