That is a 22 pages long, R18 doujinshi titled Itoko no Ko, same romanization and pronunciation as this series, but different spelling, this series uses a full hiragana title, that is いとこのこ, meanwhile that doujinshi is titled 従妹の子. Itoko writen fully on hiragana simply means cousin, but if one uses the kanji 従妹 then that means younger female cousin and Sou is the younger female cousin of Nozomu.
The synopsis of the doujinshi: "This is a comic book exclusive to the Comitia venue that is more like a collection of illustrations, in which cousins try out various things as their interests take them." So it is probably a collection of the old illustrations, although the cover looks to be newly drawn, I have no seen before that illustration. That doujinshi was first sold at Comitia 154, the one that happened roughly a month ago and it will be resold on the Comitia 155, that will happen on February 22 next year. On Twitter he says he does not plan to sold that outside doujinshi events, at least not before the serialization of Itoko no Ko is completed.

This whole Tokyo arc has kinda lost me, I'm not even sure what everyone is doing there. I guess the author wanted some drama and this was the only natural direction to go, given MC's backstory. But it is definitely a low point for the manga, I wish we could go back to the small town slice of life stuff.

When Inuchiku got published he nuked every single account he had (though archives still exist including "beta" art for this series). However, he's opened a new a Xitter and has since gotten back on the horse. He dropped something at COMITIA 154 last month with a very familiar looking protagonist. I'd link it, but I'm not super sure what the rules are for this forum. Just look up 犬畜生 on Xitter search and his account should pop up.

tl;dr, it looks like Aoi's idol shop is on the.... smaller side so I'm pretty its a cost saving measure that I'm pretty sure he didn't volunteer for this situation.

People seem to have this concept of every idol company as wildly successful and profitable when most idols are "underground" and a large number are very fly-by-night affairs run on very tight budgets.
