Also, the guild requires a will to participate in the suppression. Seems weird to let people carry the will around and risk losing or damaging it, instead of letting the guild hold it.
That's pretty much it and the fact that people are woefully ignorant I guess.Have to wonder how no one noticed that there are benefits to treating your dragons well, like having a piece of magical jewelry spawn out of thin-air or the benefits from the guiild. Sounds like they've been basically domesticated to the point of fancy horses/cattle considering how willing people are to throw them away.
Glad to see that he's willing to go the extra mile to take care of everyone's dragons if he can, even if it means digging a massive grave for an extra thirty.
I thought of them as dog tagsPhysical health, mental health -- but no affection . Maybe he needs to level up a bit more..

Unfortunately the plot depends on him being the only one who is nice to dragons, which means everyone else has to be either ignorant or deliberately nasty.Have to wonder how no one noticed that there are benefits to treating your dragons well, like having a piece of magical jewelry spawn out of thin-air or the benefits from the guiild. A battalion might be different in numbers when you factor in dragons. Say if you weighed the fighting power of a dragon vs human.Why....why do they carry the wills on them???? like of course its common to have a will written up when you're in the military or work a dangerous profession. I have one from when i was still in the military. But you dont carry it on you. this is a world with dragons, giant creatures that can tear you apart and occasionally have breath attacks. Along with apparently other various monsters. It seems fairly easy to die with there being little left of your body. Which seems like an easy way to get your will destoryed or damaged. This whole job is to retrieve wills that are still out in the damn battlefield. They should at least submit a secondary will to the guilds administration. This just seems contrived and stupid
Reading further, that is certainly not a battalions worth of bodies nor wills. So its either the author cant count or alot of corpses and by extension alot of wills were destroyed. GEE I WONDER IF THATS A COMMON PROBLEM?
We don't know that he is the only one kind to dragons, he said it's just very common to treat them like most people treated a horses when they were primarily a tool. Also as far as lvling up the guilds, dragons are essentially like humans and have diverse wants/needs but only OP can actually talk to them so he knows exactly what they want vs others are guessing. So you could end up randomly doing something the dragon really liked and that is how they end up lvling up vs MC who can now just easily cheat the system.Unfortunately the plot depends on him being the only one who is nice to dragons, which means everyone else has to be either ignorant or deliberately nasty.
