At first this seems super shallow, but after thinking about it, his character is being developed quite quickly. During the first chapter he didn't consider other people at all and just brute forced victory. Then on the next girl he asked for advice and followed it not even knowing if it would actually work or not. Now during this girl he not only continue to refer to others for help but is learning how making others helps him achieve his goals. I imagine the last development will be him learning the meaning of his urges.

@Hollow7F of course it's the fabulous Mr. Lyle from Sevens(a LN and the same author of World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs).
It was honestly the best harem novel i've read because it wasn't a wish fulfillment novel and the girls' characters were well developed
