the thing about his blood is that his sociopath(?) tendency can be considered as hereditary from his royal blood. The earliest one is the first king. And a few generation later another royal family with similar nature would born with similar nature again. They easily get bored if they don't found something that interest them. If they don't found it they will kill themselvea because of boredom, and if they are interested in a subject (like Cecil with gun powder and war in the original games) they will keep pursuing it without regard of other. The only safe one is if they are interested in another person(like the first king and Cecil now). The current King knew since the beginning that Cecil is one of those individual so he made a bet by pairing him with Bertia since their personality are polar opposite(this also happened in the original game)

Please let this end without it being ruined. Goals have been accomplished, happy ending secured, and there’s no need for any further story besides their life after marriage. (Like having kids or some kind of slice of life.)

Story is coming to a close soon. There’s an issue with the royal bloodline that causes apathy be associated with prodigies. They need to focus on something that is positive and interest them or they do crazy stuff to fulfill their apathy. But it’s a minor issue at this point. Unless they deviant heavily from the novel, it’s all good.
