I really hope Funny Valentine is telling the truth... Judging from his flashback that Handkerchief really means A LOT to him... Everything is pointing to Valentine actually being truthful (Gave them cream starter, Swore on his Father's Handkerchief and Didn't break his vow to Lucy about not hurting Mr. Steele)... It would be VERY unwise for Valentine to try a surprise attack towards Johnny... It would actually be cool to see a JoJo story end with the Main Villain conceding honorably through a mutual understanding.

Let him stay in that Limbo. Being a righteous person doesn't necessarily mean that those actions are righteous, you just think they are because you are stuck on the same perspective. Don't try to maintain the status quo, even if you do that would just be superficial and not genuine. Let the other dimensions maintain the status quo though which can be only done by subtracting the factor that can change them i.e. Valentine.
