I took a guess that the jewel will prevent any of self-harm to the user, i mean it's not like the jewel can differentiate between what kills and what don't right? The jewel itself is just a tool and works like a heterosuggestion or smth that control him, it doesn't have any self thought about which is which.

Well, in his defense, it's a war. Humanity also killed a lot of demon.
Unlike them, he killed the previous heroes that challenged him and kept their honor instead of imprisonment and slavery, he never rape or sexually assasult them, he's probably still virgin.

Are the words used to issue commands heard by Jahkurei, henceforth Jah, or are they "heard" by the dragon eye embedded in his chest? If you get flashbanged & rendered insensate at the same time a wizard whispers a word of power while throwing up an arcane gang sign, perhaps the verbal and somatic components necessary to cast a spell that would compel you to perform an action, does the spell still activate? What if your basilar membrane is physically incapable of vibrating in response to any sounds? Can a blind man activate a rune-cast spell (such as one cast at a certain location to serve as a trap) by "reading" the runes like he would read braille? Clearly Jah had to hear something to be under the effects of the spell, which is why our five heroines did what they did in this chapter, but what if he was physically incapable of hearing but was well within earshot of them? These are all questions we will never have definitive answers to and this post has been a tremendous waste of time for both myself and for you, dear reader.
