you did indeed forget.I don't know about cheaper, but the alchemist lady mentioned it's exactly the same as the original, no? Just that no one was able to transport it out until now.
Also the effects suddenly gaining healing is weird, since when they're at the bath town, it's just a potion version of sports drink. Did I missed something or did author just grab it from his arse for this new 'plot'?
I'm not sure where you are confused but I'll break it down for you:I don't know about cheaper, but the alchemist lady mentioned it's exactly the same as the original, no? Just that no one was able to transport it out until now.

I do agree that the rapid development of their businesses could've been done better. If they at least didn't make the portable versions, there would've been enough time to profit before the whole thing was shut down.
resentment, sure. But retaliation? nah. No reason to send assassins/thugs once the act has already been done, that only makes sense to do in preventative. After the dungeon is gone, it would simply be an unnecessary expense in an already very economically precarious moment (though once things stabilized it is possible someone might deem it worth the monetary waste again to soothe their egos, but at that point tempers will have cooled, and they are no longer on everyone's mind). And risky at that, as it means potentially incurring the wrath of someone with the martial might to take down the dungeon alone - who already showed what their annoyance leads to by going MAD when their own dungeon exploitation was embargoed (by destroying the dungeon everyone - including them - wanted to exploit). This doesnt feel like that kind of story but I wonder if, after they clear the dungeon will there be resentment from the populace that relied on it for a stable living
I really doubt this is the case.Merchants Guild misunderstood the sealing of dungeons. They think that if the dungeon is sealed, it will disappear completely, but it doesn't. Dungeons that have been sealed do not mean it disappeared and cannot be entered, but the number of strong monsters will not increase significantly. So, weak monsters still exist, and some of them can be used as a business, such use their fur for clothing materials. Areas that are "clean" can be used for plantations or livestock. Business from adventuring will decrease (not disappear), but the business as a whole will not destroyed, because another kind of business will arise from it.
The Merchants Guild just panicked, and instead of consulting the Adventurer Guild, they took the "dirty" route to solve the problem.
The city and Merchant Guild gain a lot of profit from materials and Lost Objects found inside the dungeon. As long as the dungeon is still running, they're going to milk it. And any resource from the dungeon is close to unlimited since the monster inside the dungeon will keep respawning.Ahem... so what's their side business have anything to do with clearing the dungeon that needs to be stopped by merchant man?
IIRC, it's able recover stamina. But somehow, the one created by the twin also able to heal wounds. But then, the one go to the bathouse is practially healthy and there's no apparent wound on their body. So, we probably didn't see its full effect until it was used by someone who was lightly or heavily wounded.I don't know about cheaper, but the alchemist lady mentioned it's exactly the same as the original, no? Just that no one was able to transport it out until now.

What this from? Looks neat.
They're probably afraid the adventurers are gonna be too effective at clearing dungeons, so much so that the dungeon got sealed.Ahem... so what's their side business have anything to do with clearing the dungeon that needs to be stopped by merchant man?
I said portable, not potable. This isn't about the wine, which is actually the least offensive product, it's the powder packets fitted inside the bottles. But making sparkling potion portable is literally their initial business? Because the OG version was hard to transport.
The sparkling wine is an expansion that came later and ironically isn't what made the grand merchant acted.
I think deep down, he want to maintain status quo of the adventurers maintaining the dungeon outbreak. With the addition of potion supplier, the progress would be faster, even if it's not immediate. I mean, ultimately he wants to nip the bud before it bloomsI don't know about cheaper, but the alchemist lady mentioned it's exactly the same as the original, no?
