I was wondering if the translators had suddenly decided to change Kyougi's name, but it seems Masurao has been calling him Yougi since her introduction.

Also, I really like that this manga can have (what seems like) misunderstandings then going "PHRASING ! Don't you realise how this could be misinterpreted ?" And yet Nonco manages to keep the madness going…

Speaking about madness. The mad lad mangaka managed to fit three bunny girls in the chapter while making it seem like a perfectly natural part of the story. Absolute god.
this mangaka can fit an eff ton of Krazy Saiko Lesbians in one small manga panel. Three Bunny Girls in one chapter is like Nursery Level :kek:

Just to clear up any potential confusion, Kanan calls him by his family name while Nadeko calls him by his given name. His full name is apparently Kyougi Youji.

Watermelons are hard. There's a reason you need a knife to cut them open (or a full powered swing of a baseball bat). Normally dropping a watermelon on someone's head like that would give the person a concussion, and the melon still wouldn't break. So Nadeko: 1) has a really hard head, and 2) is insanely strong. Kyougi sure has a lot of strong women in his life.

Walks off into the sunset mumbling something about physics and catgirls

Oh wow, absolutely didn't pick up on that. Thanks. Now I wonder, how did you even figure that ? His full name is never explicitly given, is it ?

Also wondering if "Kyougi Youji" as a name would sound as weird to a japanese person as it does to us. It's not something they really do (outside of a dumb comedy manga), right ?

Gyouji is "An event or event that is held on a specific day, ritualized or according to a fixed plan." And kyou is "today" so when you say it all together it's kinda like "today's special event". And when you consider how Kanon first met him (he was supposed to be her "meal") he would have been the special event for that day. I'm pulling this all out of my ass after poking around in a dictionary so this could all be horribly wrong.
