this manga has so many good messages, you know if i have children i will not allow them to read manga in general but something like this i would allow

I'm really enjoying the deconstruction of Japanese gender roles and shoujo drama. It's so refreshing how the manga delves into melodramatic plot tropes but the author doesn't let the characters languish long, having a supportive group of friends to help guide them (and us, the readers). The framework and nuance of their story is unique, making the interaction of these plot devices unique as well.
