I'm fully talking from Kazuya's postionbecause Chizuru has always been a lost cause anyway.
I do understand your point, I just feel like it's just... Wrong to stop all interaction with a so-called "friend" after they lost someone important. Any normal friend would have just sent her a message with "How you doin", inviting her to go shopping or eating together. Like, normal friend stuff (that you'd do even in normal circumstances) without being too pushy, but without completely avoiding contact either.
What's really bothering me at this point is that not once Kazuya has done something for Chizuru just because they just know each other. He always looked at her as a potential sex partner (sorry for being so crude, but it's true) or a rental girlfriend. He's never just said "hey how you doin'" or ate with her without some thing else in mind. Even right now, when Chizuru needs help the most, he sees her as a nothing else than a potential girlfriend or a rental girlfriend, and he acts accordingly.
