Bruh, I just bought the novel after reading this, and it is so much worse. This whole sequence doesn't even happen because the dude he beat was just a generic strong guy in the novel. Heck, the epic fight scenes weren't even in the novel either, and the MC had to be bailed out by the spellsword disciple. He flails his way to victory, winning by not knowing his own strength.
