It was a bit fast, but I actually get it. Mirai was a suicidal wreck with very heavy complex about how others see her. Seeing that Kaya genuinely doesn't see her as monster was a huge shock to her and pulled her out of her despair.

Suicidal (or in this case murder-suicidal) people aren't rational by the definition. A person stopping just because their resolve was shattered isn't unrealistic. Same with their resolve being shattered by a seemingly small thing.

Still, I need to know more how will the series handle the fact that Mutsu still died due to that cursed womb nonsense that Mirai brought on the clan herself.

Honestly, Mirai is a suicidal mess and it's literally the second time she sobered up the same way, first time being Kaya's premature birth. Suicidal people aren't rational and sometimes their resolve does shatter in the weirdest ways.

if that was mirai, the problem is that mutsu died before the activation of the curse, normally, to activate it, you need to be dead, and mirai is alive, with her baby, so it's impossible that it's her.

Oh it is the womb curse, nana said it herself that mirai curse is grow waaaay stronger than normal curse maybe because it's her second attempt.
When nana first visit mirai she's started to get nosebleed and almost died but Mutsu charms directed all those curse residue on herself.
