Because in a bonus chapter in Vol.6, as per official translation Mei's Father was an Orc, not a Dwarf.

this is so pathetic, they committed several murders and attempted to genocide the entire dwarven race, if murder and genocide ain't bad enough to deserve punishment then i guess there is no crime that ever deserve punishment because if you punish someone their family and friends will take revenge right, i guess we just let anarchy reign. He is all about ending the cycle of hatred, by forgiving even the most heinous criminals.

But the thing is the cycle of hatred was started by the one who later committed all those crimes.

I mean, the reason Posehai's did everything was because they felt unappreciated in their work of taking advantage of others.

Aka., they tricked people and exploited them, and expected everyone to praise them. But when that didn't happen, they started to commit murders, life-destroying exploitation & experiments and even genocide as an act of revenge, while crying about the world being unfair to them.

Kind-off reminds me of the whole origin of Islamophobia concept in real life, as historical they were never exploited or had anything bad done to them by others, but rather had always been the aggressor throughout the world, but somehow still became known in the world as someone who were unfairly treated and blamed.

First note/edit: Mei's nipples have to be in full view, there's no way that narrow band can cover her nipples with such huge gazongas being so far below unless her nipples are pointing directly downwards...

This is just one of those works where the artist tried to show off more breast meat, and it backfired. Compare Volume Cover Mei(4, 6, and 10) to the one in the pages. They shrank that top.

I found what looks like that bonus chapter (34.5) on a raw site. If you’re referring to the scene where Mei is trying on a dress, there is no mention of parents.

Errm... I agree with his reasoning in principle, but having played the role of infiltrators, deceivers and poisoners, would any of the locals have any reason to trust them when they say "Take this medicine, it will help!"?

Unless they are relocated elsewhere for a fresh start, even if they turn over a new leaf completely, they have an uphill battle in front of them.

They will restart in the protagonist territory, Krumphal (they are not known there and the protagonist is fully trusted there so he can vouch for them for them initial introduction there)

Commits murder and attempted genocide, yet is allowed to roam freely.
Even if you want to say that they are going to be under the watch of the MC, this still feels incredibly wrong.

This isn't like one of those cases where the MC finds someone who feels misguided and looks like they are wasting their talents. These guys have already killed/harmed many people. The damage has already been done, and supposedly letting them rot in prison or executing them is too light of a punishment for them. So, instead they are given the chance to supposedly 'atone' for it by being doctors under his supervision.

.....Are there any real consequences for committing such horrific acts? Yeah, their families might be pissed off, but so what? Their families did the crime and everyone knows it. You do the crime, you face the punishment. That's only fair. Giving them a slap on the wrist might as be betraying the survivors of the victims they killed.

Pretty sure they will under slave seal, and the MC and us reader are traumatized enough to know the power it allows (like witnessing all your family being killed while you can only watch...)

Funny thing is that the killing of the dwarfs queen for their genocidal plan of creating a poison for the dwarf race, they did it willingly, but the genocide by poisoning the water, they did it unwillingly and thought they were truly helping. They were ask to purify the polluted water and saw the problem through only their brethren which was the colour and smell so the neutralized the smell and made the water transparent again and thought they really have solved the problem.
They did more damage by genuinely trying to help but by their actual genocide attempt.
