I believe in the scenario for this story having the mind of an adult just refers to the memories and wisdom that comes from his past life. This does not automatically mean he will always act like a grownup, nor does it mean he cannot act childish at times. Remember your body is every part of you, not everything sans the brain. In other words the protagonist has the brain of a child too, and there is a huge difference between the undeveloped brain of a child, and a fully developed adult brain.
Additionally, stories that have the protagonist act like an adult while physically still being a child can get disturbing really quickly, so trust me its better this way.

What is the whole point of it being isekai if the kid is a kid? It doesn't even feel like he came from another world or why he was reincarnated. Trash author.

also in the early chapters the crown prince was shown to be capable mentally and physically it seem wild that he let all of this unfold without stopping his family doom
since the noble system is designed to be anti-army coup d'État because the royal army consist only of 20 % to 30% of the kingdom military capability and the rest is split up between each house so even if they rekt the royal family they have to go through all the other nobles
the army coup d'État can only work when there is only one absolute power like the rest of the world beside Europe
i mean just to stress out how much this system was very much anti-rebellion henry viii despite all the poor decision he made no one tried to take him out on the other hand charles got rekt only because he failed in every aspect : food,security , money management , starving the people to the point of death , wasting country funds for his pleasures

For those who wonder why it got dropped by previous group
Well at least that's what I can see in raw so far, art is nice, plot is unnecessarily tragic but somehow it became unsure where the future is at and what's await him, k
everything went from 100 to -100 real quick, everyone dies, yep everyone dies except him, and base on the raw, he became the tragic survivor and roamed till he reached another town and meet another noble/royalty , can't blame them , building up such warm characters, plots and a perfect waifu just to burn it all as tragic background plot, from what I've seen, aunt and other workers dead by impale, waifu dead by suicide dragon, which triggered him to be OP for some reason and massacre the bad guy before getting to the treasury himself , and at his journey he'll somehow meet the dead ally ghost (or his imagination) forgiving him for being weak or telling him to move on (base on reaction it seems he confessed in sadness ) , summoned a beast companion, found an injured Pegasus and healed him and move on
