That's because it was exaggerated for comedy. Readers weren't actually meant to take it seriously. The joke is that dads are under appreciated and they cranked it up for laughs... but again, you aren't supposed to take it seriously.
@deathmailrock really? Yeah, I didn’t get that at all. I liked it much better as a wholesome fluff family manga. It should have gone for that, because none of the comedy landed with me. It was still enjoyable (for me) to read, but if that’s what they were going for and they wanted to attract readers that liked comedy, then I can see why it was axed. Also so Dad’s are just under appreciated universally? I hoped it was just america
