Kissanime/Kissmanga, piracy and racism

So, back when covid19 really picking up steam in fucking up everyone on a global scale in March this year, I vent my anger by commenting on Kissmanga's discus about how wikipedia changed the virus name from Wuhan Virus to Coronavirus. And how we must never forget that the virus is China in origin and how they might have fucked all of us up. I even go to a long completed manga's comment section to vent those frustrations, thinking there will be no mass reports of readers with a cultural sensitivity. Got ban in an hour.

So, is it weird for a manga piracy site to concern itself with subvertly racist comments?

Fairly sure they'll use the no racism rule or the stay on topic rule.

If the website is doing something bordering on illegal, standing up to racism seems the least of their concerns already. They dont have the principle to obey a copyright law, but have the principle to obey anti racist law?
Its like having the notion we can pick and choose what law or personal principles we can abide ourselves to.

But back to your reply, you are saying one set of value is fluid but another set is iron clad? That is kinda hard for me to follow or swallow, tbh.

Do you know someone that want to keep up an racism comment on their website? There is none, hell, even if there is one, its only private server not for public shit.

The virus's name isn't what's racist, but back when it was new and the virus was known mainly for originating in China it caused some (racist) people to discriminate against Asians (not even people from China specifically)
