Cool has no idea what to do lately. Plots just start and more often. For example finding out Tohru's mom was the woman from chapters ago doesn’t hit that hard since that chapter was months ago, and so much random stuff has happened in between that many people forgot all about her. He's working on this, the 5 spin-offs, and his paizuri manga. He's overworked and just making things up as he goes now. It makes the series feel unfocused and the tone all over the place.
I don't think he actually writes for the spin-offs besides the single page bonuses at the end of the volume releases.

Also, I, for one, remembered Ori, and several others in the thread too considering they mentioned her now being confirmed to be Tohru's mom when before it was speculation.

Also also, the afterword for volume 16 shows he does plan his arcs somewhat, in it he talked about his initial ideas for the Fafnir/Loki/Tournament arc and what he had to change/cut before going in, that's why Nidhogg quietly left partway through the arc after helping rescue the hostages.

Proof you don't need to show loads of skin to still be unbelievably alluring. Though when you're filling a top like that, anything works.
some bodies are more alluring when you covered it compared to showing more skin.Like thick woman on business suit with black stockings are more hots than thick woman with skippy bikini.

less is more.

There have always been arcs like this, Ilulu's introduction, Kanna, Kimun and Azad, Elma's marriage and the ceremony of power

Just a reminder, Tohru's mom IS the one I've been saying, aka the one that gave a still unknown gift to Kobayashi on the bridge. And she's at least on par with Lucoa in terms of power. Which also means we probably haven't seen a fraction of the Emperor of Demise's full power in his few appearances if he scales too. Remember, when Lucoa first found out about Tezca, she bodied both Fafnir and Elma with ZERO resistance!

Makes sense to me as to why Shouta would try to kill her. He's a child; he's still growing and his brain is still developing. He's acting more on emotion than thought in this particular case because of the situation. For him to make logical choices 100% of the time would be weirder.

'Cause is not properly an arc, is just a lot of different things happening at the same time; it's exactly a SoL about a woman and her dragon(s), but now things don't just pop up and get resolved in one chapter, there are clues before, and aftermath afterwards.
If you ask me, is pretty realistic.
