I know where I'd go from here if I were in Kobayashi's shoes. It was mentioned offhandedly by Shouta's father that Tohru's father had pulled some strings with the God of Kobayashi's world to allow Tohru and the others to live there as long as they didn't interfere too much with the flow of the world, and I'd be willing to bet that God would not take this turn of events lightly.

The dad is the guy in charge of all the mages on Earth, and he's possibly a sworn friend of Tohru's dad.

He (Tohru's Dad) might get involved personally to stop Loki, or he might go and get Tohru's mom, who based on her relationship with Lucoa may be another God Dragon, perhaps Seiryuu of the 5 Divine Beasts.
